Serving oil & gas and banking industry
Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Albahrainsoft ECM is a systematic approach to managing content throughout its lifecycle. It enables unstructured information — such as Word documents, PDFs, emails and scanned images — to be securely stored and made accessible to authorized users.
Enterprise knowledge management (EKM)
Albahrainsoft enterprise knowledge management is the practice of managing knowledge resources to facilitate access and reuse of knowledge. A fairly broad term, it typically refers to advanced information technologies and solutions that deal with organizing data into structures that build knowledge within the enterprise.
Face Recognition
Facial recognition is a type of biometric security. Other biometric methods include voice, fingerprint, and eye recognition. While it’s mainly used for security and law enforcement, interest in other applications is growing. Once considered science fiction, biometrics have become part of daily life. From unlocking phones to boarding flights, biometric technology is now everywhere.
CASE STUDY
Iraqi oil & gas company unearths speed, security, and productivity with Albahrainsoft ECM for enterprise content management, The adoption has been extremely fast compared to other systems. People love Albahrainsoft ECM. In fact, a lot of employees use ECM without even knowing it. The head of one of departments said “They just click a button and the system gets the document and displays it on the screen. Some staff don’t even know they are using a document management system because we have automated and integrated their systems. They come into ECM via an integration piece, which works really well.” From accountants to engineers, oil ministry employees are able to make their decisions much quicker. They have critical documents at their fingertips faster than they ever did before. For example, our Land staff are getting information, such as lease agreements, directly from their partners via email. They can load it right into the repository rather than waiting for it to come through mail and then be scanned and sent up.
CASE STUDY
As the level of security breaches and transaction frauds increase day by day, the need for highly secure identification and personal verification information systems is becoming extremely important especially in the banking and finance sector. The key success factors proposed through the case study served as a guideline for a biometric enabled security project called Amnbank, which is envisaged in a trade bank of Iraq. This pilot study reveals that more than coping with the technology issues of gelling biometrics into the existing information systems, formulating a viable security plan that addresses user privacy fears, human tolerance levels, organisational change and legal issues is of prime importance. Albahrainsoft has established itself in a short time as a first-rate technology provider in biometric recognition in Iraq. Thanks to this alliance, Albahrainsoft was the well-known trade bank of Iraq to allow an account to be opened in a completely digital way.
